Hey, Dad. . . Help!

So, I don't know about you, but I've never been one to really understand cars. I had my Dad show me a few basic things before I moved to college, but honestly I never remember much, and so I usually end up calling him when I have a problem. Maybe I could learn some things for myself online or something and find a way to remember them. I think that this site is helpful, since it has links to how to fix your car, like how to replace a head gasket. Honestly, I don't even know what a head gasket is, so I would definitely need some help there. I think it would also be helpful to keep a site like this as a book mark (for those of you who are in Cali:) Los Angeles auto repair. It lists the auto repair places in your area.

While we are on the topic of cars, do you have a favorite? I don't know that I have a specific kind of car that I like, but I absolutely love the one that I have, which is a 1998 Plymouth Breeze. Its a cute car and I think it is more fun to drive than any of the other ones my family owns. Some of my friends are fans of cars like a Ford Explorer. When I drive with them I do have to say that they are nice cars!

Another question, just for fun. Do you own your dream car? If so, how in the world did you do that??? If not, what IS your dream car and why?

Finding the good things in life

Hey, I wrote an article about how you can focus on the good things in your life instead of the bad ones. Having the same information in different places make it show up less on search engines, so I'll just give you the link. Check it out!

Electronic World

So, I don't know about you, but it seems like our world today is getting more and more electronic. With that, we have to keep up with the "trends" of technology or we'll be left behind. For example, if you never bought DVDs it would be hard to find any videos these days, especially not the new films. I love electronics and I like catching up with different companies and trends. The one I've been checking out today is Pioneer Electronics. This is a company I wasn't very familiar with, but the more I've looked the more I like what I see. Here are a couple of the products that I think would be worth buying:

(Ok, so this one isn't really an electronic, but it is from the same company).

Vancouver 2010 Olympic Bags Lamis Fashion Tote
So, if you are anything like me, you are an Olympics fan. For me, I'm not just a fan. I am a HUGE fan. If I had the money I would buy just about everything that had to do with the Olympics! I am also a huge fan of bags and purses, so this is great. I like the simple design and it would be very handy. It even comes with a warranty and is offered in two colors! (Personally, I would go for the red one!).

Pioneer Stealth S-Line POS Workstation (AM15XR100A15)
Now this I seriously think is awesome! If I was running my own business I would so get one of these! It doesn't take up a lot of space, it has a convenient touch screen, it can read credit and debit cards and even prints its own receipts! I just think it would be super handy and fun. Check it out!

So, would you buy any of these if you had the money? Do you already own them? Do you operate your own business? What electronics do you like to look at?

So I'm making this point in reaction to the question "Have you ever been to a different country, or would you consider yourself the "sheltered" type?"

Sadly I have never been to another country, but I don't know that I'd consider myself "sheltered." More like and average person who doesn't have the money to travel abroad.

I have always been interested in travel and I have an insane desire to go to just about everywhere, especially France and Italy. My dreams of travel are not all abroad though. There's a great many of American places and sites I want to see. As an American History major, many of the states in the east call my name on a daily basis. I have yearned for some time now to got and visit every site of history in America, though of course, that is just about everywhere isn't it? For we are making history right now, we just don't know it yet. My goal for now is to make enough money for my trip by the time I am graduated with my Bachelors degree. My travel plan right now consists of visiting 5 states I think, and lasts about three weeks. I could never tell you how much I want this trip to happen. I'd already planned it once and it never happened, and so I've recently revamped it, and I am determined to make it happen this time.

Another place I really REALLY want to go is the Bahamas! I want to stay at Atlantis!!! Dang, it is so awesome. My ultimate wish is to have that be the destination of my honeymoon, but I guess we'll see, since that's not happening anytime soon that I know of!

So, have you been out of the travel? How far have you been from home? What is the most amazing place you've ever been? If you are a traveler, how in the world do you pull off the money to do it???
